7 Break up songs for Saturday.

I just went through a break up, so I thought that I would share my top 5 break up songs. These songs are always here for me when people aren't so I thought that this would be a good coping method.

Fugazi-Promises. How could you not like this song?

Husker-Du - Something that I learned today.

Extra! Husker-Du - Don't wanna know if you are lonely. I had to throw this in here too.

Cat Power- Metal Heart. I personally think that this is better than the newer live versions.

Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Maps. Say what you want about them, or the video, but this is recomended listening. Its all in the lyrics!

PJ Harvey - Legs. This is the ULTAMATE Break up song. Valentines day song even. Whatever the occasion, this will make you feel better. Fantastic footage.

Sleater - Kinney - The last song. This is a repost from a previous instament, but it is nessary break up song.

Frozen Tuesday 5.

Nice to get a post in on a Tuesday, I spent another weekend Debating and because it was a two day meet (Friday and Saturday) I couldn't do my normal posting. I have tomorrow and off because of the bad weather (the wind chill is -22 degrees outside!), so I thought that it would be a good time to post. I sprained my right wrist really bad, so I'm going to keep my comments to a minimum.

Sonic Youth - I Love You Golden Blue 6/3/2005. This video only has 1,693 views. I'm not sure why, but this is a amazing live version.

Extra:Skink Live in Germany '96.

PJ Harvey - Long Time Coming. This is the b-side to Send His Love to Me. Hopefully, PJ will release a b-side album soon.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Graveyard

Fugazi - Epic Problem. This is an Epic Song. Especially the break-down

Extra! Guy Picciotto upside down. You don't know how awesome this is.

Classic Sleater Kinney: Words and Guitar & Stay Where You are from Songs for Cassavetes. The film is shot in this "indie film" black and white lens, but the interview at the end makes up for everything else. (Btw, if I found that Time Magazine article if you want to read it)

Happy New Year! I wanted to end 2010 with a bang, so I thought that I would feature 10 of my favorite videos that I have watched this year. I even threw in some new videos for you guys, so look out for them! I hope I can find even more videos and music for you all in 2011!
